Air France
- OpenLDAP Support Contract
- Expertise OS
- Signed in mid-2023 for 3 years
1- Context and issues
Air France uses OpenLDAP open source software in its business. Wishing to secure the maintenance in operational conditions of its applications based on this open source software, and also to perpetuate its Open Source choices, Air France approached LINAGORA to obtain Open Source Software Assurance (OSSA) services.
In anticipation of the end of Red Hat 7 support, which is scheduled for June 2024, Air France has taken steps to identify external support for OpenLDAP Server.
In particular, Air France needed updated RPM packages:
- when a new version is available;
- in the event of security breaches.
Air France also wanted to benefit, at the request of its internal teams, from expertise on specific subjects linked to Open Source in general.
2- Services provided
LINAGORA supports Air France in all matters relating to Open Source and OpenLDAP:
- 24/7 OpenLDAP support for all CVSS anomalies > 7, i.e. all vulnerabilities classified as "High" and "Critical". For information, the CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System) is a standardised vulnerability scoring system established by FIRST (Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams). The score calculated, which is between 0 and 10, reflects the seriousness of the vulnerability.
- In addition, Air France benefits from our Open Source Software Assurance (OSSA) service, for which LINAGORA is positioned as a trusted third party for over 450 software products for the industrialisation, security and governance of Open Source.OSSA est un service de support opérationnel avec un haut niveau d'engagement pour assurer la continuité d'activité sur votre base technique.
- As a result, LINAGORA is providing overall support to Air France on all issues relating to the Open Source perimeter of its information system.
