«Hey Linshare, can you send the contract? »
Situation that many will recognise: a client is waiting for a contract and you are on the road.
Two options:
❌ the one you know all too well – fire up the laptop, start the VPN, hunt down the right file, generate a link, go back to the email…
✅ the one you’d really prefer – simply say “send the contract to client X”.
This is one of the use‑cases of the MCP server from linshare.app, now available. (MCP = Model Context Protocol, the open standard that connects AI assistants to your business tools.)
You ask your AI assistant: “Send the updated contract to client X from my workspace.” And everything falls into place:
- the correct document is fetched from your LinShare space;
- your access rules are applied (permissions, expiration, security);
- a secure link is generated – the file is delivered to the right recipient.
-> The key point: the assistant acts with your rights only, never beyond them; it can’t do anything you couldn’t do yourself. It proposes, you approve, and everything remains inside LinShare’s security framework. Automation without ever leaving the trusted perimeter.
