Retour sur la soirée d'été du XV DSI à la Villa Good Tech
The XV DSI closing evening dedicated to AI
Here's a look back at the summer evening organised by XV DSI and LINAGORA at the Villa Good Tech. The annual get-together for members of the association, which brings 2024 to a close in style. The event was dedicated to the theme of AI, giving Michel-Marie Maudet, co-founder of LINAGORA, the opportunity to present the OpenLLM community and the LUCIE model.
Presentation of OpenLLM and the Lucie model
In a unique and innovative setting, the members of XV DSI were able to discover the latest advances in artificial intelligence through the OpenLLM initiative. The aim of the presentation was to present the values and convictions of this community, with the aim of creating a different, more ethical and responsible form of AI: Open Source AI. It was also an opportunity to look in more detail at the various projects launched by the community, and in particular its LLM models such as LUCIE. A great way to illustrate OpenLLM's avant-garde vision of generative AI.
A moment of sharing and conviviality
Arnaud Carrel, Frédéric Soulier and Christophe Séjourné shared their experiences, enriching the debate with concrete and inspiring perspectives on the use of AI in their professions. These testimonials highlighted the real and positive impact of AI technologies in various sectors, particularly in terms of productivity and innovation.
This round-table discussion ended with a unique and memorable surprise for all the members of XV DSI: Michel-Marie Maudet played a song generated by an artificial intelligence, in dedication to the values and commitment of the association.
The result was both stunning and moving, demonstrating once again the creative potential of AI.
This unique moment, echoed by all the members of the XV DSI, illustrated how technology can be used to create powerful and meaningful emotional experiences.
A late evening on the banks of the Seine
The evening continued in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere around a barbecue in the garden. It was a festive occasion that encouraged exchanges and camaraderie between all the guests. A unique experience that continued on board the ‘LINA boat’: the superb Frauscher Fantom 858, which has just arrived at the Villa. A short escapade close to the Eiffel Tower offered a few lucky guests an unforgettable experience on the waters of Paris.
‘LINA boat’ perfectly embodies LINAGORA's spirit of innovation and desire for distinction. By offering this unique experience, Alexandre Zapolsky wanted to remind us that ‘you only have one life’ and that it is essential to make the most of it. The cruise not only offered a moment of relaxation and pleasure, but also strengthened the bonds between the participants, creating unforgettable memories. LINAGORA continues to lead the way in ethical and inclusive technology, proving that work, fun and innovation can go hand in hand.
