Context
The CIG (Interdepartmental Management Center) Petite Couronne supports public employers in the departments 92, 93, and 94 in developing their HR policies.
As part of its "Convergences" platform, the authentication portal for its online services, the CIG consulted LINAGORA to assist in achieving the following objectives:
- Building a technical foundation for municipal employees and internal CIG users (6,000 users, expandable to 20,000), based on a central identity.
The central identity is a user attribute serving as an identifier within the directory. It must meet several constraints:- Be unique across the entire directory;
- Be meaningful to the user (non-opaque);
- Act as a link to connect a user present in two repositories;
- Be used for authentication.
- Providing an identity management interface, allowing delegated management and access for municipalities: the Directory Manager (DM).
- Implementing SSO (Single Sign-On).
- Integrating 10+ applications with the SSO (currently 7 + DOPPI + a new one: ELECPRO).
- Building the entire system using Open Source technologies.
