PLENARY |Open Web Search and Large Language Models and Beyond: Challenges and opportunities for Europe

Our Chairman Alexandre Zapolsky will be taking part in the plenary session to discuss the issue of building major digital commons in Europe in favour of an open and transparent Web, AI and LLM.

Inevitably, in the light of recent events, questions of regulation and global governance will also be on everyone's lips...

The NGI Forum 2023 is the flagship event of the NGI - The Next Generation Internet initiative supported by the European Commission. It brings together some of Europe's leading innovation players committed to building a trusted Internet, with the aim of giving end-users more choice and control over their data and digital identity.

The NGI 2023 forum brings together visionary personalities, political decision-makers and technologists to immerse themselves in the vanguard of Europe's digital transformation.

This year, the NGI Forum is placing particular emphasis on the concept of the digital commons, which is particularly important for Europe, as it promotes equitable access to information, fuels innovation and strengthens digital sovereignty.

Discussions will cover digital identity, the quantum internet, major language models, web search, decentralised social media and the security of the open source supply chain.
