- Pre-training: pre-season
During this period, we make sure that the players have mastered the basics. This is the pre-season phase, when the players are selected, their technique refined and their physical condition strengthened. For LUCIE, it's all about learning, being fed an immense amount of data, learning the structures of the language and the possible responses.
- Line-up: the intensive course
Once the basic preparation has been completed, the football team moves on to intensive training courses. The players learn to play together, adopt game strategies and react to specific situations. LUCIE learns to adopt the right behaviour and to manage specific situations.
Final adjustment: friendly matches
Before the World Cup, the teams play friendly matches to test their level. This is a crucial phase where the coaches observe performances and make the final tactical adjustments. Mistakes are corrected, players receive precise advice and the team prepares for the big day. LUCIE, for its part, is fine-tuned by analysing its responses, identifying biases and errors, to deliver the best performance before it goes live.
Building a sovereign AI takes time. LUCIE is still in its early stages, but its ambition is clear: to propose a French artificial intelligence model that is ethical and adapted to the needs of our education system.
