A look back at the 2024 FOSDEM in photos

A look back at the 2024 edition of the FOSDEM for our Linagorians.

1- The DNA of open source software meets in Brussels every year...

Amphitheatres and DevRooms packed to the rafters... The ultimate concentration of technical leaders, developers and tech evangelists gathered together for a whole weekend on a large campus literally bursting at the seams, where, by definition, EVERYTHING is OPEN and the key word is SHARE!

2- The "Open Beer" evening with Clever Cloud

If there's one thing that's just as important as the FOSS communities during Fosdem in Brussels, it's the festive spirit and the chance to get together in the evening over beers and chips...

This year, with our friends from Clever, we'd arranged to meet at the "Garden" in Delirium Village, a favourite spot for all the regulars!

3- Major contributions to 2 DevRooms and the launch of the "LUCIE" Open Source LLM model

Of course, we also contributed a great deal on our areas of expertise and preference: the future of e-mail in the age of the cloud and AI with the JAMES server under Jmap and Open Source generative AI with the official launch of the LLM "LUCIE" model and the expansion of the OpenLLM France community to the European level!

As a reminder: The Free and Open source Software Developers' European Meeting (FOSDEM) is a non-commercial European event, organised by volunteers and focused on the development of open source software.

It is aimed at developers and anyone interested in the free software movement. Its aim is to enable developers to meet each other and to promote awareness and use of free software.

FOSDEM is held every year, usually on the first weekend in February, on the Solbosch campus of the Université Libre de Bruxelles, south-east of Brussels in Belgium.
