LINAGORA was at the École Polytechnique X-Forum to meet engineering students.
On October 2 and 3, LINAGORA teams were at the École Polytechnique X-Forum to meet engineering students.
The entire LINAGORA team was on hand to answer students' questions and help them make the right career choice.
The intention was to continue our commitment to an institution of excellence that has been a long-standing partner of our R&D teams.
For the POLYTECHNIQUE students, it was an opportunity for direct exchange with a former General of the Gendarmerie Nationale, a major contributor to the digital transformation of the French State, and a leading contributor to OPEN SOURCE communities as the creator of LemonLDAP.
And, for each of them, the chance to project themselves into career prospects combining science, technology, digital development and, above all, the quest for meaning!
-> Career Day at École Polytechnique...
It was a busy day, with CV proofreading and mock interviews on the agenda - nothing is left to chance to instill maximum confidence in the students!
Our CTO Software Xavier Guimard's speech was a resounding success too: LINAGORA's pioneering status over the past 23 years tends to leave its mark! It has to be said that commitment is a value we share with the engineering students at the Ecole Polytechnique.
Among the students attending the conference was an Open Source enthusiast who's been coding since the age of 11. Needless to say, it was a great opportunity for him to meet and talk with Xavier Guimard, former General of the Gendarmerie Nationale.
In addition to meeting our future candidates and employees, it's also important to be able to raise awareness of digital sovereignty issues among future generations of decision-makers.
With the École Polytechnique as part of the Xforum to present all the career opportunities offered by the Group to students: from 2nd year or international internships to R&D internships, the possibilities are numerous! Numerous permanent positions for first-time recruits are also available, and can be found on welcometolinagora.
Judging by the number of visitors to the stand and the questions that were asked throughout the day, interest was once again particularly high! It has to be said that the notions of commitment and responsibility speak to our engineering students...
Not far away, still on the Saclay plateau with Télécom Paris at lunchtime, as part of an "engineer discovery cycle" for a round-table discussion on major digital infrastructures, with our CEO Michel-Marie MAUDET making a point of maintaining this relationship with engineering students and coming to shed light on the challenges of a sovereign infratech... And, of course, through Free Software!
