Hackathon IA Data Hack
23 to 25 April 2024
Albert School, 18 rue de Paradis, 75010 Paris
Our IA & R&D experts (Julien Hunter, Hadrien Gautrot, Andrzej Neugebauer) are taking part in the IA DATA HACKATHON organised by the Ministry of the Armed Forces and the Ministry of the Interior and Overseas Territories.
The Hackathon runs for 3 full days from 23 April 08:30 to 25 April 2024, 19:00.
Gathered in mixed teams from several schools, participants are invited to take on a variety of AI challenges and win several prizes.
Experts in data science and AI will be on hand to guide them throughout the 3 days, while a dedicated intermediary jury will assess the various deliverables.
The shortlisted teams will then present their pitches to a high-level final panel of judges, along with masterclasses on AI and a pizza party with HR professionals on hand to enrich the discussions and certainly spot future talent!
Four challenges are on offer to participants for the occasion:
- "6MiLaRITE": this involves implementing a method to improve the detection performance of objects with similar characteristics;
- "AI vs AI": concerns the detection of texts emitted by a generative AI;
- "Acoustic": implementing a method for locating humans using room acoustics and multimodal analysis;
- "Annothathon / Scrapping": according to precise evaluation metrics, the aim is to annotate as much data as possible in a short space of time. A scrapping and data processing phase is expected.
