CES 2026: France leads the way in open-source, sovereign AI

Las Vegas fades, the screens fold back, the slogans around AI and Disruptive Tech  dissipate.

As every year, CES gathered a concentrated burst of technological power, large‑scale promises and spectacular announcements.

Being present at CES 2026, inside the France Pavilion supported by Business France, was a source of pride and a genuine honour for us. France confirmed its position as the leading European delegation, with close to 150 companies showcasing the vitality and diversity of the French and European tech ecosystem.

In this context, our presence had a clear goal:
to remind that another path is possible, open source, European, operational, and respectful of privacy. Because, even in the United States, this is a topic that resonates with many.

With TwakeAI, we promoted a simple yet demanding conviction:
an AI that is useful, integrated into real‑world use cases, deployable at scale, without creating structural dependency, and respectful of each user’s and organization’s Digital Sovereignty.

The conversations we held on site, with decision‑makers, industrial partners, public and private actors, and journalists—confirmed this:

the future of digital isn’t decided solely by technological performance. It’s also shaped by collective choices and by our ability to build technologies we understand, control, and can evolve. CES is a mirror. It’s up to us to decide what we want to see reflected in it.

THANK YOU to everyone who made this CES 2026 as strong and memorable as it was.

The Business France teams, for their support and commitment to the France Pavilion, especially Célia Rimpot, Pauline N., Jeanne Berthold, and Emma CORMAN (Business France - Digital Technologies)

Our on‑site teams who carried our convictions: Julie Verrier, Benjamin Bellamy, Benjamin André, and Diana Potokina.

Our President, Alexandre Zapolsky, our General Director, Michel‑Marie Maudet, as well as Sebastien Drouin, with whom we have been exchanging ideas for years, without ever losing the richness or sincerity of our discussions.
