Building tomorrow's digital commons together

Building tomorrow's digital commons together

Today we are taking part in the annual meetings of the P16 Inria project, “Sovereign Digital Commons for AI”, organized within the framework of France 2030.

One year after its launch, the P16 project brings together researchers, industry players, and institutions to accelerate the building of an open, sovereign, and interoperable AI.

A programme funded with €8 million over five years, aiming to create open‑source software building blocks that cover the entire data life‑cycle, from preparation to AI model execution.

On this occasion, our Chief Executive Officer Michel‑Marie MAUDET will take part in the round‑table “Between New Paradigms and Scaling Up: Where Do We Stand on AI Industrialisation?” chaired by Benoît Rottembourg (Inria Regalia).

He will share LINAGORA’s vision:

  • how our work on open and sovereign AI architectures fits into this momentum,
  • why collaboration between research and industry is essential,
  • how open source can guarantee technological sustainability and autonomy

Around this day:

  • Presentations from the SGPI (General Secretariat for Investment) and Inria
  •  Introduction of the Inria × :probabl. partnership
  • Keynote by Pepa Atanasova, University of Copenhagen (Københavns Universitet)
  • Technical and scientific presentations of the P16 libraries

With participation from major players: Eclipse Foundation, Software Heritage, Inria Foundation, Ekitia, and many others.

Because building tomorrow’s digital commons means ensuring a truly European, open, transparent, and sustainable Artificial Intelligence.
