Accompanied by a delegation of key players from the region and welcomed by our President on 8 December, the Vice President took the opportunity to reiterate that the Region is an internationally recognised land of innovation, while sending messages of enthusiasm and recognition to the entire local economic fabric.

" I feel very privileged to have been able to visit this place, this Villa Good Tech, which is absolutely magnificent and offers an exceptional setting for innovation, and for LINAGORA in particular.

LINAGORA is a company that aims to serve French sovereignty by providing French tools, designed in France, that protect our data, at the service not only of government departments and, in future, of the region, but also of businesses and individuals.

I was really impressed by their capacity for innovation. And so I'd like to thank all the teams, including Alexandre Zapolsky, who I'd seen as one of the top companies at Bpifrance.

From this reception and these presentations, I hope to be able to develop avenues of collaboration to help the company grow and then perhaps also with the Region in its day-to-day work.

We are the Île-de-France region, a land of innovation. We are home to 40% of France's research. We've been named the number 1 region of the future by the Financial Times.

So it's very important for us to help the champions of innovation to develop - I'm thinking of LINAGORA, for example - but also to help the entire economic fabric to take advantage of this innovation, from artificial intelligence to quantum technology in the future...

That's the role of the Île-de-France region: to help these ecosystems progress and develop. So I hope there will be plenty of good things to come out of this visit."
