VivaTech 2026: We’ll be there… and this year we won’t be alone!
For more than 26 years we have been defending open source and digital sovereignty. While these topics have become newsworthy for some, for us they have always been at the very heart of LINAGORA.
For a long time, digital sovereignty ran into the same objection: “Alternatives don’t exist.”
That era is behind us. Collaboration, cloud, cyber‑security and artificial‑intelligence solutions exist, are mature and already deployed.
The question is therefore no longer whether alternatives exist.
The real question is how they become the norm.
That is precisely what makes this edition of VivaTech special. For the first time, actors who build a more open and controlled digital world every day have chosen to gather in the Digital Sovereignty Village.
Not because they offer the same solutions, but because they share a common conviction: Europe no longer needs to imagine its alternatives, it already has them.
And, for the first time in a long while, this conviction extends far beyond the circle of the builders. The recent publication of the European Tech Sovereignty package, which includes the EU Open Source Strategy, is probably one of the strongest signals.
Open source is no longer just a technological approach; it has become a strategic issue.
Alongside Oodrive, Clever Cloud, Jalios, Jamespot, Whaller, Treebal Pro, Sahar, the Low‑Code/No‑Code Alliance, the Open Internet Project, Origine France Garantie, La Forge and Incunabula, we will take part in this inaugural initiative led by the LSNC (Strategic Committee for Trusted Software and Digital Solutions), which now brings together more than 2 500 companies committed to developing trustworthy digital technologies.
For us, this is the sign that after years of talk, digital sovereignty is beginning to take concrete shape.
