"264 billion euros spent in the United States, that's 2 million jobs in Europe."
Gilles Casteran
These words, spoken at Open Source Pro 9, the circle of CIOs, still echo. Because they say everything: our dependence, our challenges, but also our collective responsibility.
This ninth edition of OSP, dedicated to an essential theme, "Digital Sovereignty: moving from words to action", brought together today's and tomorrow's digital decision‑makers around a single observation: the era of speeches is over. We must act. Act to build a free and sustainable digital environment, far from American captive models.
Gilles Castéran, president of Memority, and long‑time friend of LINAGORA, reminded us with conviction of what should unite us:
"It is the social model that is being undermined. Therefore we must create a powerful and strong digital economy in Europe!"
A simple, direct, and profoundly correct message.
Thank you also to all the speakers and guests of the evening, for the strong voices, the sincere exchanges, and above all a shared will: to debate, to question, and to build together a digital world in our image.
The seats were limited, but this will not be the last edition of OSP!
And before that, we invite to POSAIS, our flagship event dedicated to open and sovereign Artificial Intelligence.
Parce qu’entre les mots et l’action, nous avons choisi notre camp.
