Open Source Pro 9: IT departments join forces for digital sovereignty

A sincere thank you to everyone for your presence at the 9ᵗʰ edition of Open Source Pro!

It was a powerful evening, hard to sum up in a few words because it was so rich in exchanges, straightforward debates, and shared convictions.

We are proud to have gathered so many IT decision‑makers around an essential topic:
Regaining control of our digital environment with open‑source, ethical, and sovereign solutions.

The discussions were frank, sometimes heated, but always sincere. They highlighted the difficulties, the obstacles, the battles already fought, and above all the hope that we are not alone in carrying them.

Indeed, open source is a fight. A fight strewn with pitfalls, facing American giants of colossal power. Yet last night we saw that others share this will: to imagine a free, sustainable, open‑to‑all digital future, not controlled by a few.

For this edition, we wanted to showcase:
- the real feasibility of moving away from Microsoft 365, thanks to field feedback;
- the obstacles and concrete successes already achieved;
- and above all, the importance of having a space for exchange where CIOs can share their current and future challenges.

Thank you to the speakers who enriched these debates with their experience and vision:
Emmanuel Sardet, President of Cigref
Audran Le Baron, Ministry of National Education
Alain Issarni, Chief Executive Officer of SCIAM
Simon Uzenat, Sénator of Morbihan
Philippe Latombe, Deputy of the first constituency of Vendée
Arno Pons, General Delegate Digital New Deal Foundation
Alexandre Zapolsky, Président of LINAGORA
Michel-Marie MAUDET, Chief Executive Officer of LINAGORA

The Open Source Pro CIO Club is not just an event. It is an engaged community that believes another digital world is possible: sovereign, collaborative, and at the service of all.

And this is only the beginning.
