Back to the interview with our Chairman, Alexandre Zapolsky, by Jean-Marc Sylvestre (Official) to talk about LUCIE, the French opensource AI. Led by LINAGORA and the OpenLLM France community, LUCIE aims to offer a European alternative to the American and Chinese models.

 ‘Lucie is much more than a language model. It's a demonstration of France's and Europe's ability to innovate differently in artificial intelligence, and to offer alternatives to the American and Chinese giants.’

1. The launch of LUCIE.chat attracted thousands of users and generated more than 65,000 downloads of training data, demonstrating a real demand for transparent and open AI;
    
2. LUCIE changes the game with :
   - 40% French content, with a strong presence of English, German, Spanish and Italian
   - Open governance and total transparency of training data
   - An alternative to the technological dependencies imposed by foreign giants
    
3. LUCIE continues to evolve with a clear objective: to become a high-performance and robust conversational assistant, at the service of a sovereign and ethical AI;

We are convinced that Europe must chart its own course, relying on transparency and cooperation rather than reproducing the dominant models.
