• In this session, Michel-Marie will go back over how and, above all, why LUCIE was launched: a foundation model based on Jean Zay, with an in-house tokenizer, an open and assertive multilingual dataset, and a clear vision:
  - offer a responsible, transparent alternative in line with European values.
   
• The launch of Lucie.chat will also be discussed: surreal situations, media hype... but above all, the overwhelming support of the community of experts.

- Beyond the storytelling, this is an opportunity to ask the real questions: can we do anything other than clone ChatGPT?
- Under what conditions can a European GenAI exist, on a large scale, without losing its soul?
