LUCIE: Open Source AI for French Innovation

At a time when the C2i Interministerial Committee on Innovation is being held in Paris, we are proud to be part of the France 2030 adventure to bring the future closer together and contribute to French excellence in research and innovation.

Thank you to the French government for its support with France2030 for our LUCIE project, developed with OpenLLM France/Europe. LUCIE is an ‘open source’ artificial intelligence, meaning that its code, weights and training data are accessible to the public. Its foundation model is available on Hugging Face. 
 

LUCIE is an academic research project aimed at demonstrating the ability to develop generative AI digital commons.

From our base in Issy-les-Moulineaux, we are taking action to promote sovereign, transparent and ethical artificial intelligence.
