A look back at the Open Source Experience 2024
A look back at the 2024 edition of the Open Source Experience with exclusive photos of our participation in the extended band.
We had promised to create an event within an event, and our aim was to play up our status as ‘French Open Source Pioneers’ to the full, with the aim of enriching the Open Source ecosystem time and again, by building natural bridges between our different worlds: Industry, Research and Innovation.
A big THANK YOU and a special mention to all our speakers
- It was an exceptional opportunity to join forces with 2 of our strategic partners, CNRS Innovation and EDF Exaion Simvia, to demonstrate that Open Source, research, industry and innovation players can make common cause around Free Software to create the conditions for ethical, responsible and sovereign technology;
- We will also be working with our partners to offer a unique programme of conferences and Open Mics featuring the exceptional participation of ‘VIP Guests’ Jérémie Zarka, éric Bothorel, Caroline Chopinaud, Jean-Baptiste Kempf, Yann and Mehdi GMAR, as well as presentations covering the latest news from LINAGORA's offering:
- How do you ensure the MCO of a stack (HDP) that no longer has a community? by Gaël Lago
- Combining digital identity and security with OpenID-Connect by Xavier GUIMARD
- LinShare : What's new for the Ministry of the Interior? by Walid Boudiche
- Open Source as a vector for optimisation and savings for the French Administration by Yassin Benhaddou

- It was also an opportunity for Michel-Marie MAUDET to give the very first Live Demo of LUCIE, the 1st truly Open Source generative AI, with 100% transparent training data, developed by the OpenLLM France community.
" Our aim is to develop a language model [...] that is simple and compact, that we can use quite simply without relying on major infrastructures that we don't control.
Stay tuned for the REPLAY of all the conferences
