Last Monday, the first day (under the sun) of the #VivaIssy festival organized by the City of Issy-les-Moulineaux took place. At LINAGORA, we hosted a roundtable discussion titled "AI in the City."

During this roundtable, we had the opportunity to discuss the practical uses of generative AI in public services and explore essential questions:
- How it is already transforming our regions;
- The concrete opportunities for cities and citizens;
- Ways to collectively familiarize ourselves with it;
- And the ethical, social, and technical challenges to address together.
The city of Issy-les-Moulineaux offers its own platform with IssyGPT.
Data quality, anonymization, ethical governance: these key topics were addressed pragmatically, alongside very concrete use cases, such as:
- Real-time multilingual translation;
- Optimized energy management;
- Predictive analysis of infrastructures.
Artificial Intelligence should not be a vague promise but a tool serving the public interest. Thank you to all participants for the richness of the discussions!
