Meet Benoit Tellier and Jean-Pierre LORRE at our booth at OW2
44 Avenue de la République, 92320 Châtillon
June 17 & 18
Join us this Tuesday at 11:00 AM for Jean-Pierre LORRE's talk on: "The LUCIE-7B LLM and the LUCIE training dataset: Lessons learned from training a true open-source AI model"
- The OpenLLM-France community created the LUCIE training dataset and the Lucie-7B models to address the Anglo-centric biases in LLM datasets. The LUCIE training dataset contains texts in French, English, Spanish, German, and Italian, with French being the most significant portion. LUCIE's resources are open, making it one of the first LLMs compliant with the Open Source Initiative (OSI) definition of AI. The datasets are available on Hugging Face. The model weights for Lucie-7B and Instruction are published under the Apache 2 license. The training and data preparation code is freely available on GitHub under AGPL v3.
Join us on Wednesday at 11:40 AM for Benoît Tellier's talk on: "Open Standards: A Prerequisite for Open Source?"
- The history of software is full of proprietary vendors using APIs and de facto standards as tools for supremacy.
Uncoordinated changes in specifications, unfair advantages, lack of performing alternatives... These are poisons for interoperability.
At LINAGORA, we firmly believe that software sovereignty must be based on Open Source and that true Open Source is based on open standards. This presentation will outline our approach to modernizing open standards for email.
