The objectives of OpenLLM-France:

The initiative is currently developing LUCIE: an open and sovereign LLM, to be launched in summer 2023. With more than 800 public and private players, the initiative brings together researchers, start-ups and French and European companies, with the aim of creating digital commons for generative AI.

LUCIE's training:

Training began on the Jean Zay supercomputer, with the aim of processing 3,000 billion tokens.
