Alexandre ZAPOLSKY represents LINAGORA at Open Source Week in New York

Open Source is much more than a technological choice: it is a real lever for transformation to meet the major challenges of our century.

This week, for the third consecutive year, our president Alexandre ZAPOLSKY is representing LINAGORA at Open Source Week in New York, an event organized under the aegis of the United Nations, which brings together hundreds of stakeholders committed to an open, inclusive and sustainable digital world.

This participation is part of a strong mission: to have Open Source recognized as a structuring tool to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Open Source is an accelerator of social justice, technological sovereignty and responsible innovation. It makes it possible to build public, accessible and resilient digital infrastructures.

Through his speeches, Alexandre Zapolsky defended an ambitious vision of free software as a universal common good, and presented LINAGORA's work on open and ethical artificial intelligence with OpenLLM and LUCIE, our future 100% Open Source model, developed to meet the needs of countries in the Global South.

Our conviction is clear:

  • AI without usage restrictions,
  • Total transparency on training methods,
  • Open access to data for all.

Transparency, diversity, cooperation: these principles must guide global technological development. Open Source is the foundation.
At LINAGORA, we will continue to act with determination to build sustainable coalitions and promote digital technology in the general interest, commensurate with the challenges of our time.
