The launch of the LUCIE chatbot was a little hectic... But that's what innovation is all about: testing, making mistakes, learning and bouncing back.

In concrete terms, why do we say that LUCIE is a sovereign and transparent AI? 

1. LUCIE is a sovereign and transparent AI thanks to :
   - 3,000 billion tokens made public
   - 600,000 hours of computing with the Jean Zay supercomputer 
   - 65,000 downloads of training data
   - No restrictions on use, unlike proprietary models 
    
2. LUCIE is an evolving research project, not a finished product. LUCIE.chat has therefore been put online to enhance its training with real interactions. 
    
3. The interest aroused by LUCIE confirms the expectations of the French people for a sovereign AI. As demonstrated by the success of Mistral and other initiatives, there is a place for French and European artificial intelligence that is not dominated by the American and Chinese giants.
