OpenStack
OpenStack is an open source software platform for cloud computing, deployed as infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), whereby virtual servers are made available. This platform consists of components that control different hardware pools of processing, storage, and networking resources. Inside LINAGORA
OpenStack is the main open source alternative on commercial solutions to build cloud infrastructure solutions. Our specialists implement modular architecture with various components as Nova (cloud computing fabric controller), Neutron (system for managing networks and IP addresses), Cinder (block storage), Keystone (identity), Swift….. We work on innovative platforms to allow big organizations to manage their own secure cloud private infrastructure.
Our contributions and activities
LINAGORA is currently in charge to build, optimize and maintain a very big platform composed of several hundred virtual machines for Montreal administration. This project is very innovative, helping Montreal to use a professional solution based on free software and to succeed in their open source transformation.
