Since its launch at MWC last year, OpenPaas, the Open Source platform, has been able to expand and convince its first international customers. LINAGORA is proud to return to the unmissable global mobile event, to meet new partners and present a demonstration of OpenPaas’s features !

OpenPaaS has been developed by LINAGORA to offer an open source alternative to  G Suite, Office 365 or Amazon Work. In addition to its collaboration features, OpenPaaS is adaptable to all business specificities thanks to its modularity and its open API.

OpenPaaS: Business model and first use cases

OpenPaas is designed from the outset by a multicultural team, and has a vocation to develop internationally. All of its developments are in English, which is the language of his its community.

The first major customers of OpenPaas are international customers, such as Togo (Togo’s public administration).

OpenPaas is an indirect business model in white label. We seek above all to broadcast our services and innovations through telecommunication operators and digital services in order to address a large number of individuals (BtoC market) and even companies (BtoB market).

In addition, OpenPaas is available for large public or private organizations ‘On Premise’ mode. In this case, the business model is based on the sale of OSSA (Open Source Software Assurance) support contracts.

In this indirect model, it is primarily a business model based on a subscription.

OpenPaas: The target market

LINAGORA will roll out OpenPaas not only in the major European markets (France, Germany, the United Kingdom, etc.), but also in the North American and the Asian markets.

For this reason, LINAGORA has subsidiaries in Quebec and Vietnam, and recruited employees of Chinese origin.

Finally, LINAGORA wants to disseminate OpenPaas in developing countries, which need efficient solutions at a lower cost.

OpenPaas therefore appears as the ideal alternative to Google or Microsoft offers.
