This happened at the European Parliament.
And it was LinTO.ai.
Episode 5 and the final one in our series: What makes LinTO unique!
Co-built with major clients like the European Commission, LinTO connects directly to professional audio sources (a room’s AV system, a parliamentary chamber, a TV set, etc.) using the standard formats of a YouTube or Twitch live stream. Real-time subtitles appear on the room’s screen, in the video feed, and on each participant’s device.
Over 2,000 simultaneous connections that day, and 95% of users found it easy to use. Result: The experience was renewed in 2026.
Wikimania 2026 (Wikimedia France), at the Cité des Sciences: 8 rooms in parallel, 5 languages, all week long, alongside human interpreters. An open-source contributor even built their own multi-room dashboard using the API. The free knowledge movement chose a free tool.
It’s the only all-in-one solution dedicated to integrating with professional AV systems. No one else does this—that’s why institutions and major events choose LinTO.
And if nothing should leave your premises: LinTO can be fully installed on-site, GPUs included.
End of the series. One last question for the road: Who do you think subtitled these videos?

A huge thank you to our teams who made LinTO what it is today, and especially to Damien Lainé. None of this would exist without you.
