Yesterday, we hosted the Forces Françaises de l'Industrie lunch at Villa Good Tech, with a sumptuous meal (prepared by Viande & Chef), attended by the men and women who are the driving force behind this country’s industry, including:
→ Marc Ferracci, former Minister for Industry and Energy
→ Gilles ATTAF, Guaranteed French Origin
→ Laurent Moisson, co-founder of FFI and ambassador for French-made products
→ Natacha Polony, a journalist and watchdog on issues that matter to us
→ Léonidas Kalogeropoulos, CEO of Médiation & Arguments
→Alexandre Zapolsky ,CEO of LINAGORA
We had come to talk about industry. About sovereignty, about what France is still capable of doing, and about what it absolutely must preserve.
And then, naturally, inevitably, digital technology made its way onto the table.
For how can we talk about French industrial power in 2026 without addressing digital dependency? How can we defend what we manufacture if the tools that control, connect and protect our industries are not our own? “There is no industry without technology” (Laurent Moisson). Our colleagues from Qwant, Wimi, Jamespot and INERSIO, who were also present, raised this issue with us, and it resonated strongly around the table.
It was this shared, spontaneous and somewhat urgent realisation that set the tone for the day. The discussions were frank, lively and always friendly.
It is in this spirit that we are officially announcing our partnership with the FFI. Thank you to Kadia SYLLA MOISSON and Béatrice Tetukau for their trust and enthusiasm. We look forward to building the future together.
France is built by many people.
