This morning, we are taking part in the “Generative AI and Sovereign Agency” morning, organized by IMA – Innovation Makers Alliance and Trustworthy Digital Software and Solutions, Strategic Sector Committee, at the Caisse des Dépôts Group in Paris
This event, which brings together the 15 main French and European sovereign providers of generative and agentic AI, marks an important step toward strengthening the link between large corporations, administrations and trusted vendors.
Our Chief Executive Officer, Michel‑Marie MAUDET, represents LINAGORA alongside committed players such as K‑AI, Mendo, Konverso, DeepL, Berger‑Levrault, Orange Business, DRI.fr, Sopra Steria and many others.
All share the same conviction: Europe can and must master its own AI technologies.
Purpose of this meeting:
Create concrete bridges between public buyers and sovereign providers, and demonstrate that a path different from extraterritorial solutions is not only possible, but already underway.
During his speech, Michel‑Marie Maudet will present LINAGORA’s vision:
- how open source can become the foundation of a truly sovereign Artificial Intelligence;
- why transparency and auditability are the conditions for trustworthy AI;
- and how our projects, such as OpenRAG, fit into this dynamic with ongoing work to make AI more ethical, local and integrated into everyday use.
Recent upheavals have reminded us how digital sovereignty is a strategic issue.
The talent, the technologies and the will are there; it now lies with us to build together a responsible, sustainable, and European AI.
