LINAGORA is a partner of the “Assises de la Transformation Digitale en Afrique” (ATDA)
November 22-23, 2018
Paris – Hôtel de l’Industrie
From tomorrow until Friday, the Conference of Digital Transformation in Africa (ATDA) will be held in Paris.
LINAGORA, a French pioneer in free software, will be represented by its founding president Alexandre Zapolsky. It will be there to present and show his expertise on E-Governance.
The ATDA is an essential event for digital transformation in Africa: official delegations from 28 countries will be present, alongside a thousand participants and around thirty exhibitors. Among the participants can be found many Digital ministers, including those of Mali, Congo and Morocco.
Alexandre Zapolsky will speak on e-governance, of which France is one of the leading figures. One of the challenges: to digitize the administrative procedures, to facilitate the life of the citizens, and the functioning of the States.
LINAGORA is very committed to Africa, and wishes to continue to develop its relations not only with the States and companies that are already trusting us, but also to transmit its expertise to new partners.
Present for many years in Tunisia, where one of its subsidiaries is located, LINAGORA is actually involved in the open source digital transformation of Togo and Burkina Faso.
LINAGORA also collaborates with many actors of the African Digital, like Gaindé 2000, in Senegal.
For Alexandre Zapolsky: “Africa must build its own digital economy. I think it’s important to put in place, not just E-gov, but Open E-gov to generate innovation and employment at the local level. Finally, training is the big challenge for digital in Africa. It will be necessary to massively train young Africans in Numeric to be able to answer it more easily. ”
All together for the digital transformation of Africa!
