Free software has the particularity of being developed by communities that are not very customer-oriented. The development of a software is often motivated by the philosophy of open source and by the freedom that "free" brings to bypass proprietary solutions by bringing an efficient and independent answer. We believe that this particularity should not be a brake to its adoption and expansion as the advantages are numerous (sovereignty, independence, cost, economic model).
Because of the very heterogeneous character of the "catalog" of free software available in terms of level of development, version tracking, exchanges with the community and compatibility with your computer system, it seemed fundamental to us to create an interface. This is why we created OSSA almost 20 years ago.
OSSA is a support and monitoring service for Open Source software catalogs. It is also a software life cycle monitoring service, and it is also a monitoring service that guides IT departments to make the best choices for the company's IT assets and users. OSSA is also an intellectual property service that contributes to open source software by donating all of its developments and bug fixes to the communities.
And of course, OSSA is an operational support service with different levels of commitment to ensure business continuity on your technical base.
To meet our commitments in a timely manner, we developed our own ticketing solution (SmartSLA) that our experience guided us to build.
